“Karen Graham and Judy Stouffer volunteered at the Support Center for Child Advocates toy drive on December 13th. Thanks to Karen and her friends – including most members of BKW – over $1,000 in toys and gift cards were donated.
Judy Stouffer was reelected as both Assistant Secretary to the Board and Chair of PAP’s Environmental Committee on December 13th.
Lisa Shapson co-presented the “Your First Divorce Case” CLE for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on December 8th.
On December 6th – 9th, Lisa Jordan took AFCC’s CLEs held in Baltimore, MD for “Parenting Coordination: Working with High Conflict Families” and Advanced Practice Issues.”
BKW partners sponsored and attended the Women’s Law Project Annual Party on December 3rd.

Joni Berner, MariaJosé Delgado and Karen Graham took the Collaborative Family Law Affliates’ “Collaborative Divorce Training” CLE on November 12th -13th.
On November 11th,Kris Calalang presented on the Family Law Careers Panel.
Judy Stouffer’s original article, “Talk is Cheap: Attention to Detail Key in Written Communication,” The Legal Intelligencer, August 27, 2010, was reprinted by New Jersey Law Journal on November 5th.
On October 29th, Judy Stouffer was appointed as the PACE Coordinator for Study Materials by the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.
Anna Marie Trantas ran the Army’s Ten-Miler in Washington, DC (Anna Marie not only runs around here , she also traveled to Rome for a marathon in 2009) on October 24th.
On October 20th, Megan Watson co-presented at the “14th Annual Family Law Update” CLE.
On October 15th and 16th, Megan Watson moderated a panel for the “To Prep or Not to Prep? That is the Question: Ethical Considerations for Family Law Practitioners” CLE in Atlantic City, NJ.
Just ask Margaret Klaw, who is married to Alan Metcalfe, AIA, LEEDAP, who not only designed BKW’s offices, but who won the AIA Philadelphia’s prestigious Gold Medal (2010) for his firm’s tree canopy walk at Morris Arboretum. Alan also won a 2010 Best of Philly Award for this project.
On September 30th, Judy Stouffer co-presented a resolution to the Board of Governors on behalf of the Green Ribbon Task Force, which passed unanimously.
Board Compliance Officer, Joni Berner and several BKW members attended the Board’s annual fundraiser, Karaoke for a Kause on September 25th.
