BKW Family Law is located at 1528 Walnut Street, Suite 1100, Philadelphia. Walnut Street is between Sansom and Locust Streets; 1528 is between 15th and 16th Streets.
Parking is available at a number of garages nearby, including Central Parking at 1616 Sansom, the Holiday Inn Express at 13th and Walnut, the DoubleTree Hotel at Broad and Locust (self-parking) and the Hyatt at the Bellevue Hotel at Broad and Walnut.
Although the Philadelphia Parking Authority offers metered parking, restrictions can vary from block-to-block and generally expire on Walnut Street at 3:30 p.m. If using a meter, carefully read that block’s signage and be sure to prepay for enough time since tickets are issued within minutes of any expiration.
Our office is also within easy walking distance of the SEPTA Regional Rail Line (Suburban Station -exit at 15th or 16th Street and walk south three blocks to Walnut Street), the SEPTA Broad Street Line (Walnut-Locust stop), SEPTA Bus Service (21 and 9) and the PATCO high speed line (exit at 16th and Locust stop and walk one block north to Walnut Street).
Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays, except for New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day. We are generally open for Presidents’ Day, Indigenous Peoples’ Day (formerly Columbus Day), and Veterans Day, but may have reduced staff and/or hours. We traditionally close the day after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
If you call during business hours, you may speak with our Operations Manager or, if you prefer, leave a voice mail message for the attorney or staff person you are trying to reach. After business hours, you can go directly into an individual voice mailbox or leave a general message, which will be retrieved the following business day.
