Family Law Paralegals of Pennsylvania

BKW senior paralegal Anna Marie Trantas is an inaugural board member of the newly-formed Family Law Paralegals of Pennsylvania (FLPP), a non-profit corporation registered on August 16, 2019. Since local paralegal associations no longer have active family law sections, this group will provide a network for sharing ideas and information and will serve as a lifeline when quick help is needed with process serving, court filings and other day-to-day questions (e.g., idiosyncratic county-specific guidelines). Essentially, Commonwealth family law paralegals now have a way to connect that has never been available until now.

If you or someone you know is interested in connecting with other family law paralegals to find support and become more proficient in family law, please feel free to contact Anna Marie at atrantas@bkwfamily.com for more information, or FLPP Membership Chair Jennifer Echikson at jechikson@dischellbartle.com to obtain an application. The criteria for membership is at least one year of paralegal experience and current duties, past experience and/or interests inclusive of work in Pennsylvania family law practice prior to the time of application.
