Who Gets the Dog? Prenups 101

Margy Klaw and Eileen Murphy had fun with this topic when speaking with Wharton MBA candidates and Penn law students today. The event was sponsored by Wharton’s Common Cents Club, founded earlier this year. Common Cents is “focused on promoting Personal Finance literacy among the Wharton MBA community.”

Although family pets are near and dear to our hearts, there are no pet custody laws in either Pennsylvania or New Jersey. Bottom line:  have your family law attorney help negotiate an agreement.
