Our physical office will be open by appointment only. Generally, our phones will be answered during normal business hours, but email is always the best way to reach us – our virtual office is always open. Some of our attorneys are willing to meet in-person, but each is always available by videoconference or phone appointment.
At BKW Family Law, we are a women-owned firm who values all types of families and treat you the same way we would want to be treated if we were in your shoes. Likewise, we place a high value on our own families and those of our employees. Our consultations generally start between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., although we do accommodate earlier/later requests whenever possible. Our office is open on some federal holidays to allow consults when our potential clients may be available, such as Presidents’ Day, Columbus Day and Veterans Day; but, we traditionally close the day after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Year’s. If you need to reach us after hours, email is best.
It is our practice to send copies of all incoming and outgoing correspondence to you by either email, snail mail or both — your choice. That applies to our monthly statements too; we expect you to review them upon receipt and let us know of any questions. Keeping each other informed and keeping the lines of communication open is key to effective representation.
